Training grass-roots pastors and lay leaders is a vital aspect of equipping churches to work with couples. LifeBranch provides training and support to strategic evangelical seminaries with sound Bible-based training.
God has placed a particular concern on our hearts to focus on training and encouraging pastors and lay leaders in the area of marriage and family living. We do so by providing a source for teaching and personal ministry to hundreds of needy and untrained pastors worldwide. Many of these leaders do not have Christian materials available to them in their own language (Neh. 8:10). Moreover, they minister in places life Africa, Asia, Cuba and Latin America where significant challenges to Biblical principles prevail in cultural core values such as traditional religions, animism, voodoo and witchcraft. We have found that some pastors in Haiti, for example, who have given their lives to Christ, still depend on the cultural practice of wearing amulets to get their churches to grow. We rejoice in seeing there pastors have their spirits lifted, which we believe starts a ripple effect in their homes, churches, and cities so that the work of ministry can be multiplied to every generation. LifeBranch seeks to do this by: 1. Training grass-roots pastors and lay leaders 2. Providing training and support to strategic evangelical seminaries LifeBranch provides sound, Bible-based training materials and practical solutions that go to the root causes of needs being addressed. We put arms around these pastors and students by encouraging them and offering them our concern and prayers. In the midst of the battle, it is crucial to teach doctrine as we seek to encourage leaders to teach the next generation and pass on their wisdom and experiences (2 Tim. 2:2). |
